Romantic Walks and Delicious Tipples
There’s nothing more romantic than a long stroll through the countryside. The crisp winter air, the cool breeze and the way the light shines through the trees can be a really great way to connect with your loved ones as well. Taking the time to see the sights and talk to one another can be all it takes to get those sparks flying – especially if you’re a countryside-lover like us!
John and Nicola, the founders of Exmoor Distillery, can often be seen heading out into the gorgeous Exmoor woodlands with their dogs. They walk over the moors, laughing and talking, and they always finish off their hike with a tumbler full of gin – it certainly makes the walk worthwhile.
We’re not short of things to do in Exmoor, but here are a few of our favourite walks. They’re sure to get your hearts thumping!
This is one of Exmoor’s most beautiful attractions. Tarr Steps, which exhibits an old clapper bridge running along the River Barle, makes for quite the romantic sight. Could there be anything more romantic than a wild adventure through woodlands, rivers and picturesque land?
