Online Reviews and Interactions via Social Media Platforms

We work with various review platforms and social media platforms, to collect customer feedback and improve our service. For this, we share customer and order information with them.

– We retain control over the data provided and the purposes for which it is processed. We authorise the collection of data to deliver an offer to leave us a review and to collect feedback.

– You must agree to share your email address and other information for the review to be submitted on our company profile. This is stated clearly on the review platform. When you submit your review, some information maybe publicly visible not limited to your name.

– You can unsubscribe from all marketing emails by clicking the link at the bottom of their invitation emails.

– By ordering with us and confirming you have read these terms and conditions, you agree for us to share this data for the purpose of customer feedback and to receiving a review invitation email. There is a tick box during the checkout process which will assist your consent.

Data Safeguarding Measures

We take your privacy seriously and we take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including regular cyber security reviews. You are not obligated to provide your personal information to us, however, as this information is required for us to provide you with our services, we will not be able to offer some/all our services without it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. We are required under UK tax law to keep your buying information (invoices), basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.

Promotions & Offers

Occasionally, we would like to contact you with details of specific products, offers, services, competitions, newsletters, promotions that we provide. If you consent to us using your contact details for these purposes, you have the right to modify or withdraw your consent at any time by using the opt-out/subscribe options, changing the settings in the “My Account” section of the website, or by contacting us directly.

CCTV

The Company operates a CCTV surveillance system (“the system”) at its premises, with Images being monitored and recorded centrally. The system is owned and managed by the Company.

The purpose for processing personal data through use of the system is crime prevention and/or our employee’s safety/security. This is further defined as: CCTV is used for maintaining public safety, the security of property and premises and for preventing and investigating crime, it may also be used to monitor staff when carrying out work duties.

For these reasons the information processed may include visual images, personal appearance, and behaviours. This information may be about staff, customers, and suppliers (or their agents), offenders and suspected offenders and those inside, entering or in the immediate vicinity of the area under surveillance.

Where necessary or required this information is shared with the data subjects themselves, employees and agents, services providers, police forces, court or tribunal, security organisations and persons making an enquiry.

We only process your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data protection laws.
